Some people may call it a hope...

Sunday, 16 May

Dear Sabrina,

Just a couple of sentences to let you know that we are OK for the time
being. We've been having a very wet and cool Sunday, not very conducive to
air campaigning, I hope. After reading all the news on the Net I am now
convinced that there is no solution right round the corner and am back in
the dumps...

Hope we'll have electricity, it helps.

Lots of love to you :)) and to your family and Fabrizio.

Djordje

My dear Sabrina,

Please do not go out of your way to transcribe the articles. I am finding
out enough about the current situation as it is. Actually, I am an "old
hand" in matters concerning the Internet... It's a miracle what can be
accomplished in a couple of hours if you know where to look.

Yes, I was downbeat, I feel slightly better now, partly due to being able
to use the Net, partly due to an inexpressible feeling that things may look
up soon. This optimism is not based on anything tangible, it's only a
feeling, nothing else. Some people may call it a hope...

Our dear friend, thank you again. Do spend more time on your books and
notes now when your exams are getting near! When you have time I'd like
you to list your exams for us. Would like to find out more about your
school that way. BTW, how was the Peruggia - Assisi peace march?

Love to all,

Djordje

Dear Sabrina,

It was so nice to hear you again! I really mean it. Unfortunately, the
wail of the wretched air raid sirens started at 10:10 p.m. :((
Gut-wrenching. Hope everything will be OK. Just writing to you to get if
off my chest somehow.

Love,
Djordje
