If …

If I had wings and could fly
I would wander in the land yonder
and bring peace and safety
to a country devoid of both.

I would break the walls of time,
tear them apart, shatter them,
open the doors of serenity and hope
to a country devoid of both.

I would cuddle the young
under my wings
and give them the warmth
they so much miss
and take them up the mountain
to commence with God.
And they'd hug and kiss
in happiness and love.
