Per collegarsi a uno di questi nodi basta un qualsiasi programma di comunicazione. Magari per i primi collegamenti potete farvi aiutare da un amico un po' piu' esperto di voi, e una volta entrati in rete potrete toccare con mano, quando avrete bisogno di aiuto, la disponibilita' di tutte le persone che si muovono nel mondo della telematica sociale di base.
L'utilizzo dei servizi di PeaceLink non e' subordinato a nessun canone di abbonamento, e sono molto apprezzate le iniziative e le proposte da parte dei singoli utenti.

Tra le varie aree di discussione presenti sulla rete PeaceLink, va segnalata la computer conference PCK.PUB.CONSUMATORI , all'interno della quale di discute di diritti dei consumatori e di consumo etico. Questa computer conference, cosi' come tutte le altre della rete, e' raggiungibile anche da InterNet come mailing list. Per l'elenco delle mailing list disponibili inviare un messaggio di posta elettronica a [email protected] inserendo nel corpo del messaggio la scritta HELP . Per iscriversi alla mailing list sul consumo etico basta inviare un messaggio a [email protected] inserendo nel corpo del messaggio SUBSCRIBE CONSUMA .
