Dear Sabrina and Claudia,

I have access to CNN, BBC, SKY and can tell you that I am horrified by the
ONE-SIDED coverage of the tragedy in Kosovo and Serbia.  No one here is
entirely good or bad, there is lots of history to be read and lots of
information (not opinion, opinion, I don't want talking heads all the time)
to be chewed on before handing the verdict.  However, the verdict has been
brought:  Serbs are the bad guys and that's it.  The American propaganda
machine that has introduced Coca-Cola, the hamburger and the Cecil B. de
Mill spectacle in European culture and thus made it shallow and one-sided
has proclaimed my country the testing ground for its show of military
power.  Why do the Europeans allow this?  The Europeans are so much more
sophisticated and versatile, for God's sake... Here is my very short
exposition on what has been happening, without mentioning the fact that
MOST of the INDUSTRIAL capacities of Serbia (not the military ones) have
been destroyed and that the civilian deat toll is about 350 now...  Please,
take a minute to read my description and, please, please, spread it amongst
the Italians.  If you do not believe its factuality, check on it.  Again,
thanks a lot.  I have faith in people like you!!

Pray for us!  We are being bombed day in day out.  I am a big guy, 190 cm
and weigh 110 kg, but my stomach gets all knotted up when I hear air-raid
sirens wailing.  At exactly 12 midnight, some 20 minutes ago, I heard the
sirens.  What am I going to do?  Sit curled up and wait for muffled
explosions all around, the blood-painted sky, the terrible shrill sounds of
planes flying all over my city?  Kill myself?  Take sedatives?  Read
Umberto Eco?  Why???  Wait to get killed by one of the cluster bombs that
the Yankees are using freely although they are banned?  Or get polluted by
low-level radiation as they are using depleted-uranium coating for their
missiles?
