Saturday, 15 May (11:12 pm) Dearest Sabrina, The electricity came at about 11 p.m. So much joy. Strange. My mother was beaming with happiness and we all had coffee at that time! Everything seemed to have calmed down and every little thing looked so much nicer and friendly. Even the planes would not have spoiled the moment. We do hope not to have them over tonight, besides there is this nice and comforting spring shower right now. The skies are springly overcast and I love that! The gattino is getting quite active, crawls out of his under-the-bed shelter and goes into the uncharted territory. Felix is his name, I told you. Yes, you are right, we did have a couple of sonic booms in Nis -- simple and stupid tactic of frightening the populace. Let us only hope they keep on doing that and not go on with destroying my country -- and killing people under the pretext of averting a humanitarian catastrophe. I am truly sorry that you too have started to feel the effects of the mindless air campaign. Cluster bombs are very nasty and you should do everything to battle the warmongers. This was only the briefest of messages: I have to reply to lots of people. Let me say this again: these emails and our phone conversations are simply healing. Love to you and your family and Fabrizio. Djordje
