On the second day development of The International Conference of Peace

The second day of International Conference of Peace is mainly dedicated to the inauguration of the "International Village of Peace". In the Presence of high authorities of the religious communities and in the presence of local authorities, and of a great number of participants in front of the building, a group of children of ROM community that learn in the school opened by the Convent of Kapucine near to the village, gave a short program with songs and recitations. Then His Excellence My lord, Angelo Masafra gave the blessing and inaugurated the building together with Don DaniloVezzori Caritas Brescia. In this occasion they have visited the environments of this building. Then in the hall of the meetings have begun the greetings. The first was His Excellence Angelo Massafra Arch-bishop of Shkodra, who among others stressed: "Peace is the good of everything human being desires, is the highest gift of Lord, is Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace". He considered as a very urgent and more than ever the need of the dialogue among cultures. On behalf of Apostolic Nuncio, Mons. Ambrozzio Matha, greeted the Conference. He read at the same time the message of Cardinal Angjelo Sodano, the Secretary of Vatican addressed to Mons. Angelo Massafra. Then Mr. Pandeli Majko, the Albanian Minister of Defense, took the floor and said: "I am so honorable that I am taking part in this Conference and I want to thank you for the invitation". Then he added: "In 1999 I have signed the agreement of this building to pass as the property of Caritas". At the end of his speech he thanked the Conference on behalf of all the other politicians. In the name of Italian Embassy in Albania, the Consul of Italy in Shkodra, Dr. Stefano De Leo, greeted the participants. Then greeted the Conference, Proff. Marko Vitale, Ex Commissar of the Italian Government; Dr. Giovana Bussolati Tutor of village Brescia; Don Danilo Vezzoli Caritas Brescia; Dr. Michael Faber the president of Albanian Malteser. This Conference is greeted even by the representative of Albanian and German Caritas with the Center in Tirana.

During this Conference Father Mario Baglio, represented the staff that have worked so hard in the construction of the "International Village of Peace". At the end spoke Father Bonaventura Mossuto O>F>M> of Kapucin Order. He spoke about the future plans He has in the education of the children and the cooperation with the house of Peace. At the same time yesterday is created the "Commission Justice and Peace and the Save of the Creature". This commission is decreed from Mons. Angjelo Masafra in the last meeting of Episcopal Conference. This commission should have as a President Mons. Angjelo Masafra; General Secretary Luigj Mila; And spiritual Father Mario Baglio. The aim of this commission is the application of different social projects and the delivery of catholic doctrine in Albania. This commission is financed by CRS Albania (American caritas). In the introducing ceremony, the representative of Albanian CRS gave Mons. Angjelo Masafra 50 thousand $ check, which will serve as a fund for a year activity of this commission. During the afternoon at 17.00 p.m. in the environment of the Village of Peace is given an artistic concert titled "Concert for the Peace". Here have taken part three groups: the dancing group Velipoja Perish led by Don Marjan Ukaj; The group of Cultural Center "Cardinal Mikel Koliqi" by Shiroka Perish led by Father Mario Baglio, Orione; The children chorus of charitable school "Beatoo Saferini"in the presence of the high church hierarchy of Shkodra and the suburbs.
